Alan Roy Rohde

Age 76, of Manawa, died on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Cherry Meadows in Appleton. He was born on February 18, 1930 in the Town of Little Wolf, son of the late Edgar & Laura (Ora) Rohde. Alan graduated from Little Wolf High School with the Class of 1947. Following High School, Alan joined the U.S. Air Force serving two four year Tours of Duty. Following his discharge, he worked in Milwaukee several years before returning to Manawa. He worked and then retired from Outboard Marine in Manawa. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco. He enjoyed hunting, and his fishing trips to Canada. He is survived by his four brothers: Elmer Rohde, Marion; Evan Rohde, Manawa; Gene Rohde, Clintonville; Lee Rohde, Las Vegas, NV; he is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three sisters-in-law. The funeral service for Alan will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Symco with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery, in the Town of Little Wolf. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
