Alton Milo Grove

Age 77, of Weyauwega, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 28, 1933 in the Town of Royalton son of the late Albert and Violet (Batten) Bringle. On February 25, 1956, he married Marie Davis. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army for 2 years in Korea. Bud farmed in Waupaca County for many years. He owned his own gasket company for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, gardening, collecting teddy bears, building many flying model airplanes and boats. He just enjoyed doing anything with his hands. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marie; two sons: Thomas (Kathy) Grove, Allen Grove; five daughters: Kathy (Jeff) Dumbleton, Amber McCoy, Mona (Richard) Elandt, Cindy Danke, Millie Grove. He is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. The funeral service for Bud will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Chaplain Wayne Schwanke, Wisconsin Veteran's Home, King officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
