Annette May Pamperin

Annette "Ann" May Pamperin, age 62, passed away from cancer on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Appleton Regional Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1964, daughter of Larry and Jan Martochko.

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Kurt Pamperin; daughter, Becky Schmoll (Chris Ritchie); granddaughter, Angel; mother, Jan Martochko; brother, Mike Martochko (Cindy Cheek); sister, Mary Keehn; brother-in-law, Mike (Jenell) Pamperin; mother-in-law, Karyn Pamperin. She is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friend, Lisa Pauls.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Martochko; sister, Michelle Brazil; aunt, Ada Wangelin; and her first husband, Michael Schmoll.

Ann attended the Weyauwega-Fremont schools. In her younger years, she filleted many fish at the family run resort, worked at Brasch's Cheese, and created and operated Blue Mountain Creations which was a craft sales business. Her hobbies were rummage sales and crocheting. She was also a great artist and painted many beautiful pictures. She loved her kitties and at one time fostering, then adopting, 10 at once. She volunteered at Waupaca Humane Society and served on their board. Ann also provided care for those with disabilities, including D.J. whom she worked with for 13 years. Special memories were made during winter months in Arizona visiting her parents with Kurt. Ann had a passion for karaoke, which was shared with Kurt and her father.

She will be dearly missed.

Ann wanted to maintain a "no gloom and doom" attitude. Therefore, she asked that there would be no funeral. Instead, a joyful celebration of Ann's life will be held at a later date where there will be karaoke.
