Audrey M. Faulks

July 11, 1950 — April 4, 2024

Audrey M. Faulks, age 73, of Weyauwega, passed away peacefully at home with her husband Steve by her side on April 4, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 11, 1950 in New London, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Joseph and Inez Timar.

Audrey graduated from New London High School in 1968 and married Steve Faulks, her 51-year partner in life in 1972 in Augusta, Georgia where he was stationed in the Army. After many moves and relocations, they ended up in Kentucky for the next 20 years where Steve was a State Trooper. Audrey worked as an office and finance manager for a physical therapy group during this time. After they moved back home to Wisconsin, Audrey embarked on a new endeavor at a job that she dearly loved because she could be outside and not cooped up in an office. She worked as a housekeeping/maintenance supervisor at Jelly Stone, Yogi Bear campground in Fremont for 19 more years before retiring. Audrey has been a devoted animal lover over the years and is leaving behind a cat that is going to miss her very badly.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Inez Timar; brother, Michael Timar.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Faulks; a sister-in-law, Kathy Timar; nieces: Jessica (David) Kassens, Erica (Matt) Person, Veronica (Josh) Koller and all of their children.

Audrey did not want any grieving or fanfair in her passing and just wanted everyone to remember her for who she was to them. A celebration of her life will be held in the future.

Her family wishes to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and support people at the ThedaCare Cancer Center in Appleton and the ThedaCare Hospice team that has taken such great care of her over the past five months. You are heros.
