Betty Jean Drath, age 84, of Ogdensburg, Wisconsin, passed away on January 8, 2026. Betty was born on February 18, 1941 to Ed C. and Caroline M. Tessen.
Betty married Glenn Drath on June 27, 1959. They celebrated 66 years of marriage. During that time, they raised five children on their dairy farm in Ogdensburg.
During her career she worked for Zwicker Knitting Mill in Waupaca, Bethany Home as a dietary aid, and as a Personal Care Worker for Waupaca County. She and Glenn also volunteered for the Ogdensburg/St. Lawrence Fire Department and were members of the Ogdensburg snowmobile club for many years. She also volunteered for other things while her children were growing up. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa and enjoyed being in the prayer ministry.
Betty is survived by her children, Jeannette Bauer (friend Mike), Keary (Laura) Drath, Belinda Lemire, Nathan Drath (fiancé Traci), and Elizabeth (Jason) Shelley. She is survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Linda Tessen, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, her parents, brothers Leonard and Lester, sister-in-law Carol, nephew Ron, niece Melissa, and other relatives and friends.
She will be missed deeply by her family and those who knew her. The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and the staff at Living Oaks and the Willows in Iola.
A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Manawa on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
