Brian Keith Suehs, age 61, of Manawa, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the Manawa Community Nursing Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 23, 1958 in Iola, son off the late Arthur and Ruth (Johanson) Suehs. Brian attended St. Paul Lutheran Grade School in Manawa and went to Little Wolf High School. He worked at Tomorrow Valley Co-op for many years, then a short time at Faldet Farms, and then at Charter Fuels in Manawa where he built great relationships with his customers. Brian was an avid outdoorsman with a special love for ice fishing. He was proud to live on the family farm and raise sheep most of his life. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa.
He is survived by his children: Andrew Suehs, and his friend Leslie Kremer; Katie (Tim) Schneiderwent; his very special granddaughters: Eleanor and Lillian Schneiderwent; siblings: Greg (Michelle) Suehs, Mark (Kay) Suehs, Randy (Sue) Suehs and Lori Suehs. He is further survived and was very close to his nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service for Brian that will celebrate his life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Nathan Reichle officiating. Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery, Town of Little Wolf. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
