Carmen L. Bessette

Carmen L. Bessette, age 77, of Manawa, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1947 in Neenah, daughter of the late George and Thelma (Lee) Dervin. She married James Bessette and he preceded her in death in 2002. Carmen enjoyed gardening, ceramics, and movies. She ended her work career in retail. She was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the Town of Lebanon.

She is survived by her children: Laurie Barnick, David (Janet) Bessette and Becky Hebert; grandchildren: Candace (Josh) Robbins, Ethan Barnick, Evan Barnick, Kourtney Rousseau and Ryan Hebert; great-grandchildren: Grayson Robbins, Brynlee Robbins, Karter Hebert, Kyla Augsburger and Evan Hebert. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

A Celebration of Life for Carmen will be held at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Manawa on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00p.m.
