Clarence 'Clem' Radtke

March 18, 1916 — November 1, 2007

Age 91, of Weyauwega, died on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 18, 1916, Town of Royalton, son of the late William & Adeline (Magedanz) Radtke. Clarence graduated from Weyauwega High School with the class of 1934. During Clarence's lifetime , he was a longtime business man owning the Weyauwega Wigwam Service Station, Radtke's Recreation Bowling Lanes and Clem's Dugout. He was also the manager of the Weyauwega Braves baseball team for 20 years. He was a life-long member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. Survivors include three children: Jean (Bill) Morrow, Rockford, IL; Tom (Helen) Radtke and Bob (Shirley) Radtke, both of Weyauwega; nine grandchildren: Brian Fredericksen, Sharon Fredericksen, Alan Fredericksen, Kim (Steve) Schueller, Brad (Rachel) Radtke, Lynn Radtke, Tonia (Lance) Mathews, Kevin (Sue) Radtke, Jacci (Keaven) Olson; six great-grandchildren: Kendra Radtke, Brooke Cole Radtke, Alexandria and Riley Radtke, Ezekiel Fredericksen – Krisp, and Erica Olson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bernice on June 19, 2002. The Christian Funeral for Clarence will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the St. Peter Lutheran School Building Fund.
