Donald James Flynn, age 65, of Bear Creek, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 24, 2026, following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 27, 1960, in Iola, Wisconsin, and has now gone to his heavenly home.

Don graduated from East Aurora High School with the Class of 1979. He proudly served his country for four years in the United States Army.

Don enjoyed spending time with family, especially his visits to Ogdensburg and Manawa. He loved playing cards, listening to music, watching movies, and cheering on his favorite teams, the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.

Don is survived by his siblings: Tena (Russell) Dennis, Leonard (Stephanie) Flynn, James (Jenny Stilen) Flynn, and Tammy (Kevin) Robinson; his nieces and nephews: Jessica (Allen) Rosenow, Rebecca Drummond, Erica (Chris Van Swol) Lyles, Drew (Lauren) Flynn, Aiden Flynn, Lance Flynn, Malaki Flynn, and Colt Flynn; along with many extended family members and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy (Dain) Flynn and Lawrence Kolosso; his stepfather, James Flynn; his nephew, J.B. Lyles; and many other loved ones who welcomed him home.

Don's extended family also included the caring staff and residents of Hickory Road Adult Family Home in Bear Creek. Their compassion, kindness, and heartfelt care for Don made a meaningful difference in his life and helped him live his best life. The family is deeply grateful for all they did for him.

Don will be laid to rest at Park Cemetery in Ogdensburg. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
