Donald G. Treloar

Donald G. Treloar, age 77, passed away on August 18, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born, January 11, 1937 in Mineral Point, Wisconsin to Ina Treloar (Smith) and Charles William Treloar. He attended Menominee Falls High School. He married his high school sweetheart on June 4, 1955. He was a member of the US Air Force from January 1954 to 1957. After leaving the Air Force he attended school to become an Aircraft Engine Mechanic and worked with American Airlines in Chicago at O'Hare Airport. He returned to Wisconsin and went into sales. He worked in sales until he developed his own business in carpentry in Waupaca county. He later retired from his carpentry business in 1999. He attended First Lutheran Church in Ogdensburg, Wisconsin. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and boating. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Marge, his six children, Michelle (Ray), Donna (Jack), Chuck (Mary), Missy (Chad), Danielle (Mike), Lenny and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also survived by his siblings Lois, Bill, Janet (Joe), Nancy (Ron), Jim (Geri), and Chuck (Carol) and sisters in law Duella, Murial, and Susan. He was preceded in death by by his parents, two sons (Michael and Donny Jr.), two sisters (Marion and Lorraine) and one brother (Edwin "Grant"). No funeral services will be held by his request. The family was assisted by the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa. Internment will be at Valhalla Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
