Douglas E. Jahsman

Douglas E. Jahsman, age 67, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Hospital in Neenah. He was born on November 2, 1955, son of the late Earl and Hazel (Flater) Jahsman.

Doug graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1973. On February 5, 1977, he was united in marriage to Kim Suehs. They enjoyed their 46 years that they had together. Doug worked 33 years in law enforcement with the Town of Menasha and the Village of Fox Crossing, retiring September 25, 2009. He enjoyed cooking, golfing, traveling, and going up north.

He is survived by his wife, Kim; son, Chris (Shannon) Jahsman; sisters: Helen (Bob) Lorenzen, Gloria (Ted) Stinski; nieces: Stef (Bob) Schwandt, Stacy Kroes. He is further survived by uncles, aunts, other relatives, and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Gordon "Bud" (Audrey) Suehs, and his brother-in-law, Butch Kroes.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Doug's life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Nathan Reichle officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
