Erdwin "Ed" Krause

Erdwin "Ed" Arthur Krause Sr. 84, of Symco/Manawa, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025. He was born on October 25, 1940 in Appleton to the late Erdwin and Gertrude (Berger) Krause. Erdwin married Jean (Thompson) Krause on Sept 2, 1969 in Wheaton, Illinois.

Ed enjoyed woodworking, reading and operating radio remote controlled airplaines, cars and helicopters. His hobbies also included playing video games, solving cross word puzzles and working on his "Orange" computer.

He is survived by his Wife: Jean, Children: Erdwin Krause, Marianne (Thomas) Konertz, Kristine Killeen, Jim Curl and Robert Krause. Grandchildren: Tony, Alexandria, Samantha, Jessica, Billy, Drewanne, DuWayne, Joe, Jason, Tony, Christopher, Shawn, Christopher, Shannon, and Brandon along with several great grandchildren. Sister: Sharon: (Ken) Kitzinger along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Daughters: Patricia, Pamela, Kathy, and Son: John. Sisters: Cleone, (Ken) Rohloff, Nettie (Annette) Metcalf, Brother: David (Sonny) Krause and Granddaughter: Tiffany Krause.

A Graveside Service for Ed will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 2:00 PM at Floral Hill Cemetery with Rev. Andy Behrendt officiating.

Dahlke Funeral and Cremation Service of Manawa is assisting the family with arrangements.
