Evelyn Mae Jonely

Age 101, of Weyauwega, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was born on June 20, 1909, in the Town of Saxeville, Waushara County, daughter of the late Harry and Melvina (Paulson) Peterson. On March 29, 1930, she married Clarence Koplien. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1966. On November 1, 1969 she married Harvey Jonely, he preceded her in death on June 10, 1987. Evelyn lived in the Town of Saxeville and then later to the Town of Farmington. After she married Clarence, they farmed in the Town of Lind until 1964 when they moved to Weyauwega. After marrying Harvey they moved to the Town of Weyauwega then moving back to the city in 1981. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega and their Ladies Aid. She is survived by her son, Douglas (JoAnne) Koplien, Neenah; grandchildren: Chad (Heide) Koplien, Waunakee; and their children, Kaitlan and Isabel; Tara Koplien, Sussex; and her son, Jacob; 4 step-sons: John (Karalee) Jonely, Waupaca; Bill (Kathe) Jonely, Weyauwega; Tom (Genevieve) Jonely, Green Bay; Dick (Vicki) Jonely, Green Bay; 10 step-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her parents, both husbands and a brother, Harold Peterson preceded her in death. The Christian Funeral for Evelyn will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
