age 91, of Waupaca, formerly of Sarasota Fl, passed away Thursday September 14, 2006 at Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca. He was born July 8, 1915 in North Conway, NH, son of the late Arthur and Edna Covieo. He grew up in Colebrook, NH and attended Austin Cate Academy where he met his wife to be. He married Gladys Gove December 15, 1936. Following their marriage they moved to Walpole MA where they lived until moving to Florida. His wife Gladys preceded him in death July 16, 1986. On December 16, 1986 he married Elizabeth Bryan Locke. She preceded him in death July 12, 1998. The past three years he lived in Waupaca, WI. Survivors include his daughter: Sandra Lee Akey, Waupaca; his grandchildren: Laura (Edward) Hannay, West Dundee, IL; Linda (Brian) Minten, Kimberly, WI; William (Melanie) Ledger, Fond du Lac, WI; Jeffrey Ledger and special friend, Mary Sisson, Stevens Point, WI; step grandchildren: Christopher (Dorinda) Akey, Weyauwega, WI; Eric (Trisha) Akey, Neenah, WI; Amanda (Travis) Dash, Fond du Lac, WI; Kimberly (Kirk) Dewiche, Fremont, WI; great grandchildren: Joshua and Jessie Peterson; Timothy and Meredith Hannay: Corey Pawlowski; Jordyn and Brianna Minten; Ian Ledger; Frank Ledger; Jordan Sisson; Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Karissa and Kiley Akey; Carlie, Lauren and Bryce Akey; Connor and Riley Ann Delwich; Caden Ryan Akey and Kylee Athey. A niece: Frances Bryan; and nephew: Lewis Bryan, both of Sarasota, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Edna Covieo; his first wife Gladys; second wife Elizabeth and four brothers: Henry, Willard, James and Haven; his son-in-law: Mark Akey; step grandson: Ryan Akey and great granddaughter, Aislinn Sisson Ledger. The funeral for Everett will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 16, 2006 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Jeff Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park in Sarasota Florida. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Special thanks to Dr. Bauer and to all Everett's "special" friends at Crystal House Assisted Living; Paula, Jessica, Jacci, Tammy, Judy, Virginia, Betty and Faye.
