Gary George Andersen

Gary G. Andersen, age 71, of Weyauwega, Wisconsin, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. Gary was born on July 24, 1954, in Racine, Wisconsin, the son of James and Dorothy (Douglas) Andersen. He married the former Penny Bohringer. They moved to Weyauwega in 1982.

Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, and caring for wild birds. He worked for 10 years at Alloy Casting in Racine, 12 years for Churny in Weyauwega, and 22 years at Sturm Foods in Manawa.

In addition to his loving wife, Penny, of 50 years, survivors include his two sons: John (Carey) Andersen of Manawa and James Andersen of Waupaca; sisters: Rita Andersen of Waupaca, Dona Murry of Racine, and June (Barry Jr.) Schultz of Sturtevant, WI; brothers: Dale Andersen of Ada, MN, and Glen Andersen of Weyauwega; four granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of life for Gary will be held at a later date.

Gary's final resting place will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega.
