Glenn W. Drath, age 88, of Ogdensburg, Wisconsin, passed away on October 9, 2025. Glenn was born on January 5, 1937, to William "Bill" and Irene (Clappes) Drath. He was their only child.
Glenn married Betty J. (Tessen) Drath on June 27, 1959. They celebrated 66 years of marriage. During that time, they raised five children on their dairy farm in Ogdensburg on Drath Road.
Early in his career he worked for the Waupaca County Highway Department. He also served as a Town Supervisor for the Town of St. Lawrence and volunteered for the Ogdensburg/St. Lawrence Fire Department. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa and was a member of the Ogdensburg snowmobile club for many years.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Betty; children: Jeannette Bauer (friend Mike), Keary (Laura) Drath, Belinda Lemire, Nathan Drath (fiancé Traci), and Elizabeth (Jason) Shelley. He is further survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law and sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service for Glenn will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Nathan Reichle officiating. A visitation for Glenn will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
He will be missed deeply by his family and those who knew him. The family would like to thank ThedaCare Hospice, especially Julie and Paula, and the staff at Living Oaks in Iola.
