Helen Maxine Tullie

December 18, 1923 — August 3, 2012

Age 88, of Waupaca, formerly of Weyauwega, went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 3, 2012, at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in Iowa on December 18, 1923. She proudly served her country in the Armed Forces during World War II. Helen enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Pine Tree Needlers Quilting Guild. She did charity work for Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega of which she was a member. She is survived by a daughter: Gloria Ann McVey, Florida; a grandson and 3 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, brother Dale Ball and a special friend Susan Toohey. The funeral for Helen will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel in Bethany Home,(1226 Berlin St.,Waupaca). Fr. Amalraj Roche will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Hixon, Clark County. A visitation will be held directly at the chapel on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
