Ida P. Kutchenriter

Ida Pauline Kutchenriter, age 88, of Manawa, died on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Greentree Health & Rehab Center in Clintonville. She was born on November 15, 1925, in the Town of Lanark, Portage County, daughter of the late Robert and Adeline (Boelter) Hintz. On July 30, 1949, she was united in marriage to Bernard John Kutchenriter in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1994. Six years before they were married, she was a waitress at the Waupaca Café. Ida lived and farmed with her husband in the Town of Union, Waupaca County for many years. She was a member of Chat N Chew Homemakers Club for over 30 years. She loved to read and travel. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa for 64 years and their Catholic women. She is survived by her sons: Michael, Thomas, Joseph and Terry (Pat), and two grandsons John and Joshua, all of the Town of Union; one sister: Jeanette Polzin, Tigerton; and sister-in-law Frances Berres, Spring Hill, FL. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 7 sisters. The Funeral Mass for Ida will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa with Fr. Amalraj Roche officiating. Burial will be in Marble Cemetery in the Town of Union. A visitation for Ida will be held directly at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass.
