Age 63, of Manawa, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 14, 2013. She was born on September 16, 1949 in Milwaukee, daughter of Ralph and Virginia (Tanski) Koch. On August 31, 1968, she married Ray Thompson in South Milwaukee. Jacquelyn was a CNA for many years first working at Franciscan Villa in South Milwaukee, then at the Manawa Community Nursing Center. She loved crocheting. Survivors include her husband Ray; 3 sons: Richard (Kristy) Thompson and their children: Joe, Megan, Danielle and Cole; Michael Thompson and his children: Brianna, Marissa and Michaela; William (Jeanette) Thompson and their children: Rebbeca, Kimberly, Miranda and Cody; a great-granddaughter Taylor; mother Virginia Koch; siblings: Glen Koch and his special friend Ken; Kathy (Richard) Larson; Mary (Corey) Holtz; Jeff (Sue) Koch; Ron Koch and special friend Dana; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Randy (Barb) Thompson; Ruth (Ron) Kamarek; Charlie (Nola) Thompson; Paula (Steve) Cornea; Barb (Pete) Jacobson; Julie Thompson. She is further survived by her special friends: Kay, Diane, Kathy, Bev, Sandy and Shirley; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Koch and her mother and father-in-law Randy and Joyce Thompson. The funeral service for Jacquelyn will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at noon at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa with Chaplain Jim Frank of Theda Care Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Symco. A visitation for Jacquelyn will be held directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
