January 30, 1961 – July 22, 2026

Our beloved mom passed away on July 22, 2026, gently wrapped in the love of her children—Ryan Handschke, Stacy Dennison, and Shauna Timm, and the love of her life, Tim Olson, and their dear dog, Loki.

For five long years she courageously battled pancreatic cancer, yet she never once wavered from living her life to the fullest. Janet continued to travel to the warm oceans of the Caribbean and the peaceful mountains of Montana, places where her deepest peace and purest happiness shone most brightly beside her soulmate, Tim.

Family was always her greatest priority, and she poured her whole heart into creating precious memories with her children and grandchildren which were most of her treasured accomplishments. Janet did whatever it took to fill their days with laughter and smiles and to end those days with quiet nights by the fire and movies on the projector screen—moments that will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her so deeply.

Janet was welcomed into heaven by her dad, James Young; her brothers, David and Eric Young; her beloved dogs, Mila and Mia; and her stepfather, Charles Anderson-Young.

She is survived and will be forever missed by her children, Ryan, Stacy, and Shauna; her grandchildren, Kennedy, Hadley, Josie, Mckenna, Jax, Madelyn, James, Amir, and Hope; her soulmate and the love of her life, Tim Olson, and their dog Loki; her mother, Enika Anderson-Young; and her brother, James Young.

Her love remains with us always.
