Judy L. (Stumpf) Birling
24 February 1948 - 5 July 2024
I like to compare my life to the many MARATHONS I ran throughout my 76 years. I started in Wisconsin and ended in Wisconsin, but my journey of life included up hills, down hills, fast and slow speeds, pain, joy, but most of all, lots of SMILES. I was a wife to Ted Birling Jr., a U.S. Army Retired Vietnam Veteran. I traveled throughout the country seeing such scenic beauty. I ran in places like New Jersey, Iowa, Kentucky and California. I have seen Germany, France, England, but of course, my favorite of ten years was Hawaii. I brought two children on my life MARATHON, my daughter Tara and son Broc. I ran after them and chased them around throughout their lives; they were my EVERYTHING! Between my runs I found time to retire from the Social Security Administration. As with every race, my kids had to go their own speed, which gave me five beautiful grandchildren - Destany, Darsity, Lauren, Brooke, and Connor. In my final stretch of life, I sprinted in the last few meters and welcomed two great grandkids - Stellan and Jace. I am now taking my runs to heaven where I will meet up with my dad and mom - Lawerence and Arvella Stumpf, my sisters - Shirley and Beverly; my brothers - Eugene, Kenny, and Robert. I leave my sister, Diane, to watch over the race track of life. In the future, I look forward to runs with my husband of 55 years, my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the whole Birling family.
I love you and send yellow smileys down to all of you!
