Kathryn J. Jansen

Age 69, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 14th, 2010 in Waukesha, WI. She was born on July 20, 1941, daughter of the late John and Bessie (Wilson) Kelley. On July 28, 1972 she was united in marriage to David H. Jansen. He preceded her in death in 1996. Kathryn was a resident of Wautoma for many years and the past 9 years a resident of Waukesha. Kathryn was a talented and proud graduate and homecoming queen of Little Wolf High School, Manawa, WI. She attended college at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. As a giving and loving wife, mother and grandmother she adored spending time with family, especially grandchildren. She loved education, swimming, reading, camping and hosting birthday parties. She formerly worked as a caregiver, receptionist and legal assistant. She is survived by her children: Jennifer (Noel) Versch, Green Bay; Jessey (Michael) Jansen-Cicchella, Glen Ellyn, IL; Jacqueline (David) Mennenoh, Waukesha; 4 grandchildren: Kyle Vigue, Niosha Vigue, Connor Versch, Kaden Mennenoh; 3 sisters: Peggy Williams, Wausau; Judy Kandler, Oshkosh; Patricia Marko, Stevens Point. She is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Kathryn will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
