Deborah A. "Kubba" Jonely, age 66, of New London, formerly of Weyauwega, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Theda Care Hospital in Appleton. She was born on May 5, 1959 in New London, daughter of the late Kenneth and Alice (Hidde) Jonely. Kubba was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega and graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School. After high school, she worked at Presto Products for over 40 years. She loved to travel, go antiquing, and hang out with family and friends.
Kubba is survived by her aunt, Carol Goodman, and the Hidde Rock gang. She is further survived by many Jonely and Hidde cousins and her extended family the Drum's, the Boyz, the Locy girls, and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents: Oscar and Mrytle Hidde; paternal grandparents: Roy and Mamie (Prill) Jonely; aunts and uncles: Victor (Ione) Hidde, Glen (Sarah) Hidde, Dorothy (HL) Raper, Hildeguard (Gordon) Fronczak, Harold "Ike" (Linda) Hidde, Alfred (Viola) Hidde, Melvin (Janice) Hidde, Carl (LaVonne) Hidde, Gertrude Sohn, Robert Sohn, and Donald Goodman; and also her Godson, Brett Oehlke.
The Christian Funeral service for Kubba will be held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Weyauwega on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Aaron Kristopeit officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. A visitation will be held at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Weyauwega on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and also at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. Kubba's service will be livestreamed on St. Peter's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/StPeterWega
