Age 81, of Weyauwega, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008 at Crystal River Rehab and Nursing Home in Waupaca. She was born on October 17, 1926 in East Bloomfield, daughter of the late Albert and Louise Mundinger. On May 18, 1946 she married Waldrew Wendt at St. John's Lutheran Church in East Bloomfield. He preceded her in death in 2000. Lucille was active in the Waupaca Chapter of Home and Community Education for 43 years, also the Peaceful Hands Quilting Guild. She served as an election clerk for the Town of Lind for many years. She was an avid Packer fan but she especially loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, serving on the Ladies Aid for 41 years, and also the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society. She is survived by her children: Gerald (Mary) Wendt, Tustin; Judy (Gary) Loss, Davenport, IA; Richard (Jackie) Wendt, Tustin; grandchildren: Jennifer (Joe) Bullock, Bettendorf, IA; Andrew (Kris) Loss, Bettendorf, IA; Nathan (Karen) Loss and Timothy Loss, both of Davenport, IA; Benjamin Loss and his fiancé Kim, Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren: Katie and Adam Bullock, Mason and Sammy Loss; sister: Gertrude Magdanz; sisters-in-law: Ethelyn Scheider, Angie Sasse, Verona Wendt and Grace Wendt; a brother-in-law Vic (Nan) Wendt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. The Christian Funeral for Lucille will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society.
