Mamie B. Buelow, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Mamie was born on June 21, 1951, at New London Community Hospital in New London, Wisconsin, to Ralph and Mavis (Beattie) Coe. She was raised in the Shiocton area and graduated from Shiocton High School.

Mamie was first married to Gary L. Schulke, with whom she had two children, Michael (Tina) Schulke and Tracy (Chris) Weis. She later married Donald "Don" F. Buelow, and through that marriage her family grew to include Don's sons, Shannon (Gail) Buelow, Scott (Alicia) Buelow, and Shawn (Cindy) Buelow.

Mamie was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent 33 years at Hillshire Farm, later Tyson Foods. During those years, she formed many friendships and was known for her strong work ethic and straightforward nature. Following retirement, she enjoyed having more time for family, traveling, and the things in life that brought her happiness.

Those who knew Mamie knew she had a personality all her own. She was strong-willed, stubborn, outspoken, and rarely left anyone wondering what she thought. That was simply part of what made Mamie, Mamie. Behind that determination was a woman who cared deeply, loved fiercely, and treasured the people closest to her.

Mamie was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan and enjoyed cheering on her teams. She loved to travel, enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino, and especially looked forward to spending winters in Myrtle Beach with her sister Edie. Those winters brought sunshine, laughter, companionship, and many treasured memories.

Above all else, family held a special place in Mamie's heart. She was proud of her children and found great joy in watching her family grow through the generations. She especially cherished her grandchildren, Heinrich (Henry) and Walter, and her step-grandchildren, Alex and Parker, Jake and Cole, Carissa (Kyle), and Amberlynn (Vince). Her family continued to grow with her step-great-granddaughter, Aaliyah, and step-great-great-grandchildren, Enna and Greyson.

Mamie is survived by her children: Michael (Tina) Schulke and Tracy (Chris) Weis; her stepchildren: Shannon (Gail) Buelow, Scott (Alicia) Buelow, and Shawn (Cindy) Buelow; her grandchildren: Heinrich (Henry) and Walter; her step-grandchildren: Alex and Parker, Jake and Cole, Carissa (Kyle), and Amberlynn (Vince); her step-great-granddaughter, Aaliyah; her step-great-great-grandchildren: Enna and Greyson; and her siblings: Bonnie (Gerald) Blink, Jim (Janet) Coe, Edie Berto, and Kenny (June) Coe. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mavis (Beattie) Coe; her first husband, Gary L. Schulke; her husband, Donald "Don" F. Buelow; and her brothers, Dennis and Randy Coe.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospital staff and oncology teams at ThedaCare in Neenah and Appleton, the staff at St. Joseph Residence in New London, and the ThedaCare Hospice team for the exceptional care, compassion, kindness, and support shown to Mamie and her family. The comfort and dignity they provided throughout her journey, especially during her final days, meant more than words can express and will always be remembered with sincere appreciation.

A very special thank-you is extended to Mamie's sister, Edie, whose love, devotion, and presence became especially meaningful as Mamie needed additional care near the end of her life. Edie was there in countless ways, offering comfort, companionship, and a helping hand whenever it was needed. Her dedication allowed Mamie to be surrounded by love and support during a time when it mattered most, and the family will forever be grateful for all she did.

Mamie will be remembered for her strength, her honesty, her determination, her laughter, and, above all, her love for her family. She lived life very much on her own terms and left behind countless stories and memories that will continue to bring both smiles and laughter for years to come.

Those who loved Mamie wouldn't have wanted her any other way.

Though she will be deeply missed, Mamie's presence will live on in the stories told, the memories shared, and the generations of the family she loved so dearly.
