Marise Bailey

Marise Bailey, 75, of Neenah, was called home by the Lord on October 27, 2023, with family by her side.

Marise was born on December 21, 1947, to the late Ernest and Edythe Hansen in Los Angeles, California. She attended undergraduate school at Concordia College, Oakland, California, then graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Education from Concordia Teacher College in Nebraska, in 1971.

Marise passionately worked as an elementary teacher in Southern California, until her retirement in 2010. Marise was married to the love of her life, Jerry Bailey, for 37 years, until his passing in 2012.

Marise, enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, crafting, holiday gatherings, traveling, and most of all, spending time with friends and family. Marise had a great sense of humor and quick wit.

Marise is loved and will be missed by her son, Ryan (Martha); granddaughters: Samantha, Megan and Autumn; brother, Vic Hansen; nieces, Vickie, Sherry; many cousins, family and friends.

A memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Peace Lutheran Church, (1228 S. Park Ave.) Neenah , with Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. A gathering of family and friends on will be held on Thursday, November 2, from 5-7pm at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center (101 E. Main St.) of Weyauwega, and also at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Marise will join Jerry at her final resting place at King Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

The Bailey family would like to thank Dr. Lake, Dr. Dar, and the staff at Crossroads, Davita, and Moments Hospice for their care and concern of Marise.
