Mary Jane Cripps

Mary Cripps, age 77, of Manawa, WI formerly of Plainfield, IL, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother was call to her heavenly home on Monday, October 29, 2012, with her family at her side. She was born in Menomonie, WI on July 4, 1935, daughter of the late Morris & Cecelia Burns. Sister of Joann (George) Toman, Robert Burns, and Jerry (Nancy) Burns. She made her home till recently in the Chicago land area. Mary married Gordon Cripps and together they had five children: Dann Cripps, Mt Greenwood, IL; Michelle (Robert) Kowalczyk, Manawa, WI; Dawn (Jim) Mavrides, Bourbonnais, IL; Pamela Milonas with partner George Shirley, Chicago, IL. Mary was blessed with 7 Grandchildren: Shawn (Michelle) Mavrides, Angela (Dexter) VanOstrand, Georgista (Bennett) Burkholder, Timothy Milonas, Rachael Milonas, Bob Kowalczyk, Toula Mavrides and two great grand daughters Leila VanOstand, and Natalia Burkholder. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon and her son Scott, her sister Joann and brother Bob. After Gordon's death Mary was blessed with a second love Edward Urban who also preceded her in death. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa with Fr. Amal Roche officiating. A visitation will be held directly at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
