Matthew James Egerer

November 10, 1979 — March 14, 2015

Age 35, of Weyauwega, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, the result of an automobile accident. He was born in West Bend, son of Joseph and Kim (Peterson) Egerer. Matt worked at the Waupaca Foundry for the last 15 years. He had a love for taking everyone he could out on his boat to go fishing on the Wolf River. He was an avid gamer on World of War Craft, Matt loved spending time with family and extended family, having cookouts, camping, bonfires, and hunting. He was always willing and ready to lend a helping hand. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his twin children Mariah and Marshall; step-son Matthew Knight; his mother Kim Egerer; brothers: Joe (Emily), Marty and Michael. He is further survived by a niece Kalea; maternal grandparents: Ray and Eileen Peterson; mother-in-law: Cynthia Messner; father-in-law: Ronald (Marie) Knight; also other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph, and his paternal grandparents. A memorial service for Matt will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega, with Fr. Arul Joseph I. officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place directly at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
