Michael R. Zellmer

Michael Robert Zellmer, age 64, of Manawa, died on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. He was born on March 3, 1950, in Clintonville, to the late Tom Zellmer and Jean (Baldwin) Levezow. He lived in Manawa with his mother and step-father William Levezow. Michael loved to travel and he spent many winters in Bull Head City, Arizona. He also went and enjoyed seeing the Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa. Besides his mother and step-father: Jean (William) Levezow; he is survived by six brothers and three sisters: Pat Zellmer, Stevens Point; Dan Zellmer, Ephrata, WA; Tom Zellmer, St. Paul, MN; Theresa Zellmer, Jackson Hole, WY; Julie (Mike) Fortugno, Two Rivers; Mark Zellmer and special friend Bobbie Ann, Manawa; Jim (Kristin) Zellmer, DePere; Robert (Becky) Zellmer, Nashville, MI; John Levezow, Rogers, AR. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Tom Zellmer and brother Tim Zellmer. A memorial Mass for Michael will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa with Fr. Amalraj Roche officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will take place directly at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Residence in New London for their wonderful care and concern of Michael.
