Mildred Bork

July 4, 1916 — February 10, 2007

Mildred S. Bork, age 90 ½, of Waupaca, formerly of Weyauwega, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007. Mildred was born on July 4, 1916 to Frank and Emma (Wilke) Teal. On November 28, 1936, she married Arnold J. Bork who preceded her in death on January 10, 1974. Together they farmed in the Town of Royalton. Mildred enjoyed gardening, reading and was well known for her vegetables, chickens and eggs. She is survived by four children: Karalee (Delmer) Dieck, Scandinavia; Duane (Delores) Bork, Weyauwega; Kathy (Terry) Schmoldt, Weyauwega; Robert (Marylyn) Bork, Watertown; a daughter-in-law Theresa Bork, Weyauwega; twenty grandchildren: Michael (Dorri) Dieck, James (Sandy) Dieck, Paula Dieck, Debra (Dean) Schneider, Dorothy (Tim) Paider, Dawn (Rick) Nelson, DeAnn Taggart, Denise Bork, David Bork, Patrick Bork, Barbara (James) Scheibe, William Bork, Mary Bork, Jennifer (Roy) Potter, Tara (Christopher) Mack, Carrie Beth Pingolt, Eric Schmoldt, Brian (Katie) Bork, Stacy Bork and Kelly Bork; twenty- three great-grand children; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Alvin (Marilyn) Thiel and a sister Donna (Melvin) Cartwright. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. Mildred was preceded in death by one son: Arlyn "Jack" Bork, two grandsons: Benjamin Bork and Daniel Bork; one brother: Alfred Thiel. Thank you to all Mildred's friends and staff at Angelus Retirement Community, Waupaca, where she lived for the past 3 ½ years. The Funeral Service for Mildred will be held at St Peter's Lutheran Church, Weyauwega, at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 14, 2007 with Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. Friends may call at the Cline – Hanson - Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 from 4 to 8 PM and at the church on Wednesday from noon till the time of service.
