Obituary

Oscar B. Soriano, age 47, of Manawa, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, January 22, 2026. He was born on June 6, 1978, in Mexico City, Mexico, the son of Benito Soriano Guerrero and Maria Ortega Martinez. He was presently working at Granite Valley Forest Products in New London.

He loved to sit and listen to music, and watch old time TV shows and cartoons like Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, and Flintstones. But most of all he loved being with family, having cookouts and sitting around a fire, joking around and having good conversations. He really was a kid at heart, stuck in a big grown up body.

He is survived by his parents; siblings: Carlos Soriano, Angeles (Russell ) Moloney. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins; nephews: Allen, Benjamin, Ivan, Juan and niece Isabella.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Adelo and Angela Soriano Rosas; his maternal grandparents: Salomon and Alicia Otega Lopez; a brother Edgar Soriano; two uncles: Alberto Soriano Guerro and Vicente Soriano Guerrero.

The funeral service for Oscar will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Manawa. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Little Wolf. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
