Paul A. Jaeger

February 22, 1969 — August 20, 2023

Paul Adam Jaeger, 54, Town of Maple Creek, Wisconsin, was welcomed into heaven on August 20, 2023. Born February 22, 1969, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Ken and Ruth (Kroening) Jaeger. Paul was the second of four rowdy Jaeger boys. Paul is survived by Dawn the "Love of His Life for over 22 years", their daughter Olivia, father Ken Jaeger, brothers Jef (Michelle) Jaeger (Greendale), Barry Jaeger (Lynnette) (Waukesha), nephews Maxx and Dorian (Beaver Dam), father and mother-in-law Roger and Shirley Spiegel, brother and sister-in-law James and Carmen Salinas, nephew Jesse, aunts and uncles Darryl (Dianne) Jaeger, (cousins Eric and Stephanie), Steve (Ruth) Jaeger, (cousins John and Kelly), Aunt Kay (Ron) Hinkens, (cousin Joey), Tom Leininger (cousin).

Preceded in death by his mother Ruth Ann Jaeger and his brother Bryan Jaeger (recently passed in April of 2023).

Paul at an early age was introduced to playing bass guitar. His family was musically talented: father was a singer with Paul's uncles ("Kenny King and The Be Bops"); mom played piano, brothers were musicians. Jef (drums), Bryan (bass), Barry (drums).

In the early 90's Paul moved to Los Angeles, CA, to pursue his love for music and entertainment, as a professional artist with his charismatic stage persona. He played bass for many genres of music from heavy rock, classic rock, country and jazz. Over the years he played in original bands and cover bands: Sonic Circus; Diamond and Steele; Lexington (original band); Jimi Nelson & The Drifting Cowboys; Gregory Wolfe's "Tribute To Rod Stewart"; Tailspin.360; The Resins; and many more. Paul performed with Tuff on a U.S.A Tour; he also traveled with a cover band overseas and entertained the troops on a U.S.O. Tour.

In 2009, Paul and Dawn chose to move back to Wisconsin for family circumstances. He continued performing and playing music throughout the state.

In addition to Paul's music career, he worked in Sales and Distribution as an Account Manager selling screen print supplies nationwide for well over 30 years.

Paul was an avid reader and an excellent cook. He loved watching sports events, especially the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed deer hunting (two years ago he filled two deer tags within minutes). Paul enjoyed being outside with nature. He cherished spending time with family, friends, bandmates, brothers and sisters, and his animals. He truly appreciated the simple things in life.

For those of us who knew Paul, he will never be forgotten for his calm and charming disposition, "the voice of reason," and his unforgettable smile. He always had a great ear for listening and a no-nonsense approach which we referred to as "Paul Time". Paul's faith in our heavenly Father was where he found his strength. Paul was a wonderful daddy. Before his daughter was born, Paul kneeled and privately prayed for the healthy birth of his daughter. His genuine kindness to others was sincere. We are certain he is sharing his smile in heaven. There is no doubt that Paul will live in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known him. A beautiful soul gone too soon!

When time comes to say good-bye,

You shall see a teardrop in my eye.

Looking at moments we once shared;

Representing how much I cared.

So when push comes to shove,

I just thought I'd let you know:

Inside I will never let you go.
