Peggy M.
Neumann
Mar 27, 1947 — Aug 31, 2026
Peggy Neumann March 27,1947 to August 31, 2026
With heavy hearts, a few tears, and probably at least one inappropriate joke Peggy would have appreciated, we announce the passing of Peggy Neumann, a person who spent a lifetime caring for others, loving deeply, laughing loudly, and never being afraid to say exactly what was on her mind.
Peggy had a heart for people. Caring for others wasn't simply something she did, it was part of who she was. Whether someone needed a helping hand, a listening ear, encouragement, a little tough love, or someone to simply sit beside them during a difficult season, Peggy was there.
But please don't mistake kindness for quietness. Peg was funny, sassy, stubborn, when necessary (and sometimes when it absolutely wasn't), and blessed with the ability to make people laugh at exactly the moment they probably shouldn't. If you asked for an opinion, you were going to get one-and occasionally you got one even if you didn't ask.
There was never much wondering where you stood with Peg. Underneath all that sass was an incredibly generous heart. Peg spent a lifetime taking care of people, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her life was measured not simply by the years she lived, but by the people she helped, the burdens she made lighter, the tears she wiped away, the laughter she created, and the lives that are better because she was part of them.
Those who knew Peggy will remember the stories, the laughter, the one-liners, the unmistakable personality, and the way she could make an ordinary moment unforgettable.
We will miss the laughter. We will miss the sass. We will miss the advice we didn't ask for.
We will miss the stories we've already heard a hundred times. Most of all, we will miss the person behind all of it-the one who loved fiercely and spent a lifetime caring for others.
If Peg could leave us with one final instruction, it would probably be something along the lines of: Take care of each other. Laugh whenever you can. Don't take life too seriously. And for goodness sake, don't make a big fuss over me.
Unfortunately, Peg, we're making a fuss. Because a life spent loving and caring for others deserves to be remembered, and yours certainly will be!
Per Peggy's wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers and sympathy cards, please send your memorial to the charity of your choice in memory of Peggy.
