Richard Lee Dobratz

Age 67, of Manawa, died on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at his residence. He was born on September 8, 1938 in Shawano County, son of the late August & Esther (Koch) Dobratz. On March 21, 1959 he married Ahnna Mae Horning in Waukesha. Richard was in the retail business working in various places until moving to Manawa in 1973, where he was involved in the grocery business until retiring in 1995. He loved woodworking and enjoyed hunting. His wife, children, and grandchildren were very important to him and he enjoyed spending quality time with them. He is survived by his wife Ahnna; his children: Diana (Brian) Suehs, Manawa; Suzanne (Randy) Suehs, Manawa; David (Dawn) Dobratz, Hortonville; Stephanie (Dan) Riske, Symco; nine grandchildren: Jason and Alicia Dobratz; Andrew and Katie Suehs; Ashley and Alissa Suehs; Breanna Dobratz; Abigail and Emma Riske with two more on the way; a brother: Duwayne Dobratz, Manawa; two sisters: Gina (Wayne) Wood, Pulaski; Almira Biedermann, Green Bay. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive him. His parents, a son Mark and three sisters preceded him in death. The funeral service for Richard will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa with Rev. Wally Waite officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Symco. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, June 16, 2006 from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until the time of the service. In Lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to St. Paul Lutheran School in Manawa.
