Richard A. Rowe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and true friend, Richard Allen Rowe. Richard left this world to drive truck for "THE BIG MAN" on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Son of Rosco Rowe and Vyolette Bruns Hensley, Richard was 1 of 9 children. He was born August 28, 1949 in Minnesota.

He spent the last 29 years married to the love of his life, Barbara G. Goforth (Rowe) making their home in Manawa, Wisconsin.

Richard drove semi truck for many years until retirement. To keep himself busy he did odd jobs. He enjoyed shooting pool, riding his gold wing, putzing outdoors on just about anything and inventing things. If he didn't know "how to fix" something, it did not take him long to figure it out.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Barbara; his children: Katherine (Sid) Cardy, Mathew Rowe (Teri Huntley), Shannon (Robert) Lutzow; step children: Kevin Ricketts, Angella (Don) Voit; 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosco and Vy; 4 brothers: Gary, Jeffrey, Robert and Daryl; daughter, Marsha Rowe.

His wishes were not to grieve me but celebrate me. Who could ever forget that mane of hair and great personality and smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
