Robert "Bob" C. Noffke, age 78, of Weyauwega, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at his earthly home in Weyauwega, to go to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born on April 2, 1936, in Oshkosh, son of the late Walter and Mabel (Manthey) Noffke. He was raised a Lutheran and was baptized on June 4, 1936, and confirmed into his faith on April 2, 1950. He continued his walk with the Lord throughout his life. He was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1957, and was a Korean War Veteran. On September 12, 1959, he was united in marriage to Donna Mae Moss. Together they were blessed with four beautiful children. Bob was employed by the United States Postal Service for 29 years and retired as a Postmaster in King, Wisconsin. He was a member of the American Legion for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, wine making, being an active member of his church, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family, also his four legged friends, including his dog Jenny and "that darn cat". He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna; children: Carol (fiancé Skip) Noffke, Barbara (Dan) Schultz, Dave Noffke, Ron (Pam) Noffke, grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Schmidt, Jessica (Jesse) DeMoulin, Angela (fiancé Kyle) Hill, Brett and Aaron Schultz, Brittany, Jacob and Alexis Noffke; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Emma, Joshua, Sophia and Isabel. He is further survived by his brother Raymond (Alice) Noffke, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Walter (Lelah) Noffke, his granddaughter Erin Donna Hill, and a niece Lynn Noffke. The Christian Funeral for Robert will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Newlin Schafer and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Central Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin. A visitation for Bob will be held directly at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Old Glory Honor Flight.
