Ronald Oscar Wiesman

Ronald Oscar "Ron" Wiesman passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Ron was born on June 21, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

At the age of three, his family moved to Weyauwega, where he was raised. He lived in Weyauwega until the age of 77 before moving to Waupaca. Ron graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1960 and earned his degree from Carroll University in Waukesha in 1964. In 1965, he joined the family business, Wiesman Motors, Inc., where he worked until his retirement in 2005.

Ron was deeply involved in his community. He served as President of both the Weyauwega Jaycees and the Weyauwega Chamber of Commerce and was an active member of the Weyauwega-Fremont Lions Club. He was also a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Weyauwega, where he served as an elder and participated on numerous committees.

As a young man, Ron earned the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. He was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers.

On March 6, 1965, Ron married the love of his life, Judith (Judy) Hintz, in Weyauwega. Together they shared a wonderful life built on love, family, and faith.

Ron is lovingly survived by his wife, Judith; his daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Gregesich and their children, Alyssa, Taylor, Anthony; great-granddaughter, Israh; his son, Jeffrey (Jessica) Wiesman and their children, Alexis and Will; his nieces: Sheri and Jeannine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Mabel Wiesman; his brother-in-law, Eugene Hintz; and his sister-in-law, Sharon Wohlt Hintz.

The family extends their thanks to the co-workers and the medical staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center and Bethany Home in Waupaca for their comfort and care as Ron fought his courageous battle with cancer.

According to Ron's wishes, the family will hold a private day of Thanksgiving to celebrate his life and his love for God, his family, and many friends.
