Rosemary Jane Cooper, of Appleton, formerly of Manawa, and Naperville, IL, died on Friday, January 16, 2015, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Rosemary was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Jack Bert and Marie (Molnar) Slifer. Rosemary attended and graduated from Farragut High School in Chicago, IL. She worked a number of years at Kroehler Furniture Company in Naperville, IL and then as a beauty consultant for Estee Lauder at Marshall Fields in Chicago, IL. Rosemary finished her career at AT&T/Bell Labs in Naperville, IL. After her retirement, Rosemary moved to Manawa to be close to her sister Betty and family. Following Betty's death, she moved to The Heritage in Appleton where she resided until her death. Rosemary is survived by nephews: Patrick Hodel; Jack (Sherry) Hodel, great niece Kimberly Hodel and great nephew, Michael (Amanda) Hodel. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, son William, sister Betty and brother Jack Bert Jr. Following Rosemary's wish, private family services will be held. A special thank you to Dr. Green, Dr. Schiedermayer, Rev. Mark Holmes, and the nursing and support staff at 2 South Theda Clark, for the wonderful care they had shown Rosemary and her family while she was there.
