Sam A. Lehman

Sam Andrew Lehman, age 46, of Waupaca, passed away unexpectedly, the result of a motorcycle accident, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. He was born in Medford, WI on June 25, 1978, the son of Eli Lehman and Barbara Kaatz.

He attended Little Wolf High School in Manawa. Sam loved gardening, canning, making cheesecake, smoking salmon, and making specialty wines, but his favorite hobby was fishing.

Sam is survived by his parents: Eli (Terry) Lehman and Barbara (Jeff) Kaatz; sisters: RosAnna Lehman, Felicia Kaatz, and Sheila (Scott) Vanswol; brothers: LeRoy (Carie) Lehman, Bradley (Brittney) Kaatz, and Ralph (Kari) Mack; grandma, Arlene Caldwell. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and his special fur companion, Drew.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Eli (Lovina) Mast, Allan (RaeJean) Kaatz, and Sam (Polly) Lehman; aunt, Anna Schrock; uncles: John Mast, Joe Lehman, and Harvey Lehman.

A Celebration of Life for Sam will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Weyauwega.
