Sharon D. Riske, age 77, of Manawa, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born on December 2, 1948 in Clintonville, daughter of the late Leonard and Elnora (Krieser) Desens. Sharon graduated from Marion High School. On July 11, 1970, she was united in marriage to Donald Riske. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2021. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco where she served on various committees over the years. She also was a member of various organizations including the American Legion Auxillary and the Union Thresheree. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, going out to breakfast and playing cards with friends, shopping with her daughter and watching her family participate in antique tractor pulls.

She is survived by her children: Willie Riske and Kelly Norton; Jenny (Lee) Werth; grandsons: Jesse Riske and Alan Werth; siblings: Dennis (Debbie) Desens, Chong Desens, Karen Smith, Gloria Larsen, Gerald (Joanne) Desens, Carol (Dave) Hammen; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Byron Desens; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard (Hildegarde) Riske; brothers-in-law: Ed Smith, Jim Larsen, Jim Riske (Nick Gagliano).

A celebration of life will be held for Sharon at a later date.
