Tyler A. Buchholz

February 22, 1984 — August 18, 2023

Tyler Allen Buchholz, age 39, Town of Hortonia, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 18, 2023. Tyler was born on February 22, 1984, in New London, to Todd Buchholz and June (Madson) Buchholz. Tyler married the love of his life, Katie Larsen and they would have celebrated their 9th Wedding Anniversary on August 23.

Tyler was self-employed as a Fiber Optic Cable Splicer and worked around the Fox Cities. He loved music, snowboarding, golfing, 4-wheeling, yard work and home projects. More than anything he loved his beautiful wife Katie and their children, Lincoln and Lennon.

Tyler was a great friend, wonderful son and brother, proud husband and gentle father. He loved playing with his children and had such a playful spirit. Tyler was a problem solver and loved helping others. He loved celebrations such as concerts and family weddings and was always on the dance floor rolling the dice - which was his signature move. Tyler was extremely proud of his sobriety. He had a sparkle in his eyes and a smile that could light up the whole room.

Tyler is survived by his doting wife, Katie Buchholz, their son Lincoln (8) and daughter Lennon (4); his parents: Todd (Laura) Buchholz; June Buchholz; brother: Tanner (Lindsay) Buchholz and their children: Brenlee, Reese and Everley; mother-in-law and father-in-law Tracy and Carol Larsen; brother-in-law: Kyle (Amber Van Handel) Larsen, and their children: Haze and Rhett. He is further survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Betty Buchholz and maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Dorothy Madson.

The funeral service for Tyler will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa (742 Depot St.) with Rev. Nathan Reichle officiating.  A visitation will take place on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. A private family graveside service will be held at Little Wolf Cemetery, Town of Little Wolf.
